Test run(args) with a fake app/syncer (an interface over the methods the commands call) and verify:

Unknown command returns an error.
--year and --leg parsing and defaults are correct.
session without --filename fails.
Each command calls the expected syncer method.

This is the safety net that the old flag chain never had.
